WELCOME TO MINI'S HOUSE CHILDCARE CENTER
At Mini’s House we are dedicated to providing the foundation to encourage each child’s lifelong love of learning in a safe and nurturing environment. At our center we believe that learning is constantly happening and is interwoven through all developmental domains. We offer a wide range of enrichment activities to meet the needs of each child’s emotional, social, cognitive, and physical skills. We believe in open communications with families in an atmosphere of mutual trust. We promote play by creating theme-based lesson plans to meet the individual needs of the children. Learning centers are used as hands-on areas and include: language arts, math, science, music, creative arts, writing, and dramatic play. These learning centers provide time for children to explore their feelings and use their imagination. Teachers will encourage the children to investigate their surroundings, problem solve and think independently. The children are encouraged to explore a variety of materials as they play and socialize with friends.
EDUCATION
Your child will learn in a safe, warm and accepting environment. Our atmosphere enables children to respect themselves and others. Through diverse creative experiences, we enhance children’s ability to socialize with others, be creative, express themselves and develop. We provide a high quality educational program, one which we are always improving.
PLAYGROUND
Play areas are important for children, giving them a space for pretending, expressing and imagining themselves. Play areas promote thinking, problem solving, and turn taking, and help children learn and develop skills in all domains. Of course, play areas are also important for developing physical dexterity and good health.
OUR CLASSES
INFANT - The Tiny Toes Room
Your little one will be safely nestled in loving arms within a nurturing environment that allows them to develop foundational physical skills and emotional connections while building new relationships with teachers and friends. We strive to provide the gentle support and encouragement needed to start independently exploring the world around them using all five senses.
TODDLER - The Wobblers Room
Your young toddler is on the move and becoming more active and independent as they begin exploring the world around them. Our teachers strive to help inspire curiosity and imagination in a way that is unique to your toddler’s individual interests.
PRESCHOOL - The Wild Things Room
In our preschool classroom, children develop their independence through fun learning experiences as they build valuable skills they need to interact with the world around them. Caring, patient teachers guide toddlers through exploration while helping to establish crucial social-emotional skills. We will help your toddler as they begin to transition to preschool routines and new conventions of play.
PRE-K - The Imagineers Room
The Pre- K Program introduces your child to a cooperative learning environment where they can discover interests and learn in more structured ways. In this classroom, caring and compassionate teachers help your little one turn everyday experiences into fun, educational opportunities. As your child prepares for kindergarten and beyond, this classroom features lots of fun opportunities for learning and innovation to occur every day.
